"(---) Artists were invited to meet two photographers at this deserted pier (---). One of my goals was to prevent them from composing in the frame. I bounced a ball on the pier and and asked that they try to photograph the ball in the middle of the frame, the idea being that they would be so concerned in doing that they would not have time for a beautiful photograph. (---)"
