Immediate Nature

In his latest series, Immediate Nature, the artist continues his investigation into how to capture the passage of time using nature's ever-changing seasons as his means of measurement. However, in this newest body of work, he focuses on integrating the human presence within the natural environment. By utilizing subtle portraits of his children and merging their images into these forest photographs, Tuori creates highly symbolical works that aim to remind the viewer of the urgent topic of climate change. By integrating those, who will eventually inherit the planet and have to deal with the decisions we make today, the artist articulates the necessity of taking responsibility and caring for the environment we all share and live in.
